Frequently Asked Questions

Simply reach out to our team, providing us with your questions or concerns regarding our products, and we will swiftly respond.

How do I see out of the mask if there are no eye holes?

Use a craft knife to cut a crescent shape above or below the eyes. Now you will be
able to see out of the mask while maintaining the drama of the eyes.

What is the most comfortable way to wear these masks?

Attach the mask to a paper helmet.

Start by cutting strips of paper.

Using a stapler, tape, or glue, join two strips of paper to make a longer length.

Fit this strip around the head and secure to make a headband.

Turn the headband into a helmet by securing a third strip (from front to back) over the top of the head.

Attach the mask to the front of the helmet with glue, tape, or Velcro.

What is the best kind of glue to use?

We use Elmer’s Glue-All (Multi-Purpose, Extra Strong Formula). It dries fast and is
safe and non-toxic.

Any white glue works, but we stay away from “washable” glue because the glue
doesn’t hold as well and can stain the paper.

A glue bottle with a pointed application tip is desirable for better control.

What does it mean to score paper?

Use the tip of your scissors to press a line into the paper. Press on both sides of
the scored line, and the “line” will pop up or down to add dimension and interest to
the paper.

What is the best type of paper to use to make these masks?

You can use multicolored construction paper to make your masks. We often use TRU-RAY Premium Heavyweight Construction Paper, Fade Resistant and Acid
Free. It comes in 12”x18” and 9”x12” sizes in multicolored packs.

For a stronger, more lasting mask, use any 65 lb. weight or heavier paper.

Watercolor paper is good because you can color the paper in a variety of ways.

What are the best scissors to use?

Use scissors that fit the size of your hands for best control. Small children should use blunt-tipped scissors for safety.

Adults and older children using sharp-tipped scissors will be able to make more
accurate cuts.
